Training Outcomes
OHSTraining School has carefully designed this course to ensure that you are not only well-equipped with the knowledge and ability of operating a tractor and TLB but that you will also pass the OHSTraining School Certificate Examination and be awarded a nationally recognized OHSTraining School Certificate in Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) Operations.
Tractor Load Backhoe Training – The TLB Training was developed by Tlale Operator Hire and has been successfully training personnel since 2007.
The Training is held at a well-equipped facility in the heart of the Tlale Operator Hire premises in Mamelodi, Pretoria. It is situated next to a primary school and is within 5 minutes from the N14 highway.
The aim of the course is to train personnel to operate a TLB as per industry standards and comply with all legislative requirements as stipulated by the Mines Safety Health Act/Isibindi SETA Provisions.
Training includes both theory and practical sessions. The course commences with a two-day theory session, followed by a two-day practical session, and concludes with a final one day theory session.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be issued with a certificate and card, valid for 3 years.
Tractor Load Backhoe (TLB) Training in South Africa

The TLB training course covers all aspects of the operation of the TLB, from familiarisation with the equipment, to basic hydraulic functions, through to advanced level of 4WD vehicle operations.
