Tractor Load Backhoe Training – In this exciting course you will put into practice the skills learnt from the theory session as well as develop skills in a practical setting. From learning how to control a backhoe with a loader scoop to controlling the boom, you will complete various exercises that will give you an understanding of how a tractor loader backhoe works.
This course can be done at your own pace and over a period of four weeks, with a maximum of 3 people per class. You will start by learning all about handling a backhoe and how it functions, including the controls and hydraulics, boom control and the basics of machines.
You will then work together with your instructor to complete various exercises around the farm, which will further your knowledge of the machine.
Note: After completing this course, you can either continue onto Tractor Loader Backhoe Supervisor Training or start immediately working on your TLB Supervisor licence.
