Excavator Training South Africa (ETSA) is a leading provider of excavator operator training in South Africa. We have been operational since 2010, with a fleet of 30 training excavators, and have trained more than 2000 students. Pier owns and operates ETSA on a daily basis, and has been in the construction industry for more than two decades. He never imagined that he would one day be operating an excavator, but over time, he realized that many people shared his passion for excavators. He decided to combine his knowledge of construction and heavy plant with his passion for excavators, and set out to create Excavator Training South Africa (ETSA).

The Excavator Training Operator will gain from a massive training program ranging from theoretical to practical learning on a variety of excavators, learning how to drive excavators. A large variety of student-friendly teaching aids will be used during the training, while a full range of life support facilities will be readily available. All the training will be done under the watchful eye of experienced instructors.

For the last 13 years we have been educating people in the Construction Industry on how to use and care for various types of machines, which is an imperative part of our everyday work. We have over 80% success rate for our various courses; we offer Excavator Training, Semi-Skilled Operator’s Training, Machine Operators Course and Quality Control Course.

Over the next six months you will be required to travel from your home to our head office in Johannesburg for training. This is to ensure your safe operation of this equipment under the instruction of our qualified staff.

During your training you will learn to drive a wide range of equipment including: Terex, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi Zsusi, Hitachi and Liebherr

Once a week a member of management will meet with you to ensure that your training is going well and that you are keeping up to speed with your studies.
